COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.– Olaya Bances Iglesias and Soledad Fayos Capilla both won their singles matches over tie-breaker sets to lead the San José State women’s tennis team (14-1, 5-0 MW) in a 4-3 win against Air Force (7-10, 1-3 MW) on Friday afternoon.

- No. 118 Cheuk Ying Shek and Carla Urchoeguia quickly defeated their opponents, 6-3
- This is the pair's first doubles win since facing Boise State
- Emma Fantousis and Fayos Capilla clinched the Spartans the doubles point after a tense tie-breaker set, 7-6 (7-5)
- Fantousis and Fayos Capillo are undefeated in doubles conference play, 3-0
- Urchoeguia won in straight sets in singles, 6-1, 6-3, putting her on a five-match win streak
